Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Pumpkin Fit handles consumer health data, as required by Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada, Connecticut and other states. It adds to our Privacy Policy.

01Health data we collect

Workouts, exercises and the effort you log; food and nutrition intake; body weight, measurements, body fat % and progress photos; medications, doses and injection sites you log; and, if you connect Apple Health, sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, steps, active energy and workouts. It also includes what we work out from these, such as insights, trends and patterns in your training.

Cycle tracking data from Apple Health stays on your iPhone and is never sent to us.

02Where it comes from

From you, from your Apple Watch, and from Apple Health if you connect it.

03Why we collect and use it

Only to provide the features you ask for: storing and syncing your log, showing your history and progress, calculating insights and suggestions, and the reminders you turn on. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it.

04Who we share it with

Service providers that host and store it for us (DigitalOcean, Cloudflare) and process it only on our instructions.

Other Pumpkin Fit users only when you choose to: for example, if you turn on Social and let people see your Progress section, or send a share card. Apple Health data and medication data are never shown on your profile. Health data only reaches other people when you post or send something that contains it yourself, such as a weight progress card.

We do not sell consumer health data, and we do not use geofencing around health care facilities.

05Your rights

You can confirm whether we collect your consumer health data and get a copy (Settings › Download my data), see the list of third parties we share it with (above), delete it (Settings › Delete account, or delete individual entries), and withdraw consent by disconnecting Apple Health or deleting the data.

To make a request or appeal a decision, email legal@pumpkin.fit. We’ll respond within 45 days. If we deny your appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.
